This year we welcome some (international) guests at the BUTFF. We will not reveale all names yet, but our main guest will be, the Italian director Enzo G. Castellari.

The typical BUT-movie is difficult to define. Each year we receive many movies from young talented movie directors who tell a story with little budget, but therefore with maximum creativity. With more than 150 submitted films it promises to be a top festival edition!

We present the five key ingredients for the perfect BUT-film:

Every year, BUTFF has a specific theme for their program. The program and artwork are inspired by the chosen theme - as well as the decorations at the festival. In the history of B-movies, there are many examples where new trends in the film industry are being introduced. When we look back, we can state that some of these examples really changed the way we make films nowadays.

At BUTFF we are always looking for volunteers.
People that are enthousiatic, full of good ideas and commitment. 

To organise the festival and during the festival we need all kind of people.
Not a native speaker? Don't worry we are an international festival everybody speaks english.
